This all-electric, $108M, 5-story, 73 unit development will offer 30%-60% AMI families a podium courtyard with sweeping views of the San Francisco Bay. Redwood Energy lowered HVAC costs by hundreds of thousands of dollars with new HVAC system recommendations, and secured support from San Francisco’s municipal utility for back-flowing a larger solar array into their system. The resulting CUAC Utility Allowances bring almost $1M in net operating revenue over 15 years. Redwood Energy performs all the Energy related consulting, including Title 24, CUAC, HERS, Non-Res Acceptance Testing and GreenPoint Rated certifications. Construction starts in 2023.
Redwood Energy has led the design of more than 20,000 units of Zero Net Energy, all-electric affordable housing, and 200 all-electric market rate residences.
